Kelly Vick

Board Chair

Kelly graduated from UNC-W with a degree in Business Management and completed the Rutgers Executive Directors Education Program in 2016. He is President/CEO of Wilson Housing Authority and currently serves as director for Housing Authority Industry groups including Carolinas Council of Housing Redevelopment & Codes Officials (CCHRCO) and North Carolina Housing Authorities Risk Retention Pool (NCHARRP).  He is a licensed NC real estate broker with 18 years of experience in private market real estate sales, property management, and new construction. 

Kelly is a Wilson, NC native. He is married to Cynthia and has two daughters.  Kelly enjoys cycling, golfing and fishing.

Bill O'Boyle III

Vice-Chair

Bill is the Founder and CEO of North State Consulting which builds sales teams for tech companies of all sizes across the country.  Bill is a graduate of Leadership NC, Wilson Dynamic Leaders, and the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Leaders program. Bill has also served on the AICPA’s Executive Roundtable and several community committees for the United Way and Raleigh Chamber.  Bill is the proud father of his son, Liam and lives in Cary, NC.

Mary Katherine is a 1970 graduate of Atlantic Christian College, a mother of 2 daughters,  grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of one. She became involved with Community Impact NC many years ago when her daughters were young and has been involved since!

Sherry Thornton

At-large Board Member

Sherry received her graduate degree from East Carolina University in School Counseling.  She is currently the Executive Director of Carolina Pregnancy Center in Greenville, NC.  Kelly is a retired school counselor from Wilson County Schools.

Jessica Talbert

At-large Board Member

Jessica currently serves as Director of Federal Advocacy at the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She previously served as a health care policy advisor in the U.S. House of Representatives for several Members of Congress. Prior to Capitol Hill, she also worked at a variety of health care associations and firms. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Flagler College and a Juris Doctorate from George Mason University School of Law.

Gregory Eger

At-large Board Member

Greg holds a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration and is currently earning his Doctorate in Healthcare Administration.  His education is complimented by 10+ years of experience in the substance abuse and behavioral health industry.  He was able to serve in various front-line staff positions that quickly grew into promoted leadership roles such as a Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officer.  Greg has been part of building and sustaining many successful de novo treatment centers and has turned around underperforming facilities that range from 30-200 bed capacity across the United States.  His ability to create and implement policies, procedures and workflows that decrease expenses and increase revenues is well balanced by the knowledge of regulatory compliance, accreditation and multi-site leadership and execution of organization objectives. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and currently resides in Dover, New Hampshire, serving as an Executive Director within the substance abuse treatment industry.

Nathan Langley

At-large Board Member

Nathan Langley is Co‐Founder and Vice President of Business Development at Gatekeeper Innovation. Inc. A thought leader on prescription medication misuse and abuse, Mr. Langley is a part of the National Pain Care Forum, Abuse-Deterrent Formulation Coalition, and CDC PROTECT Committee, which collectively develop initiatives and drive legislation to improve pain care and reduce prescription drug abuse in the U.S. Mr. Langley received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from California State University, Sacramento. He was recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as a “Top 40 Under 40” honoree.
